Examples of Non-Traditional Investigative Journalism

Posted on 1 May 2008. Filed under: Citizen Journalism |

Mark Glaser (Mediashift) has compiled a list of “online journalism” projects in preparation for a journalism conference at Berkeley this weekend. He includes quasi-traditional reporting (Salon: questioning Ken Starr investigation); poster-children (debunking 60 Minutes analysis of President Bush’s National Guard service; US Attorneys story; Rep. Mark Foley scandal); pop culture (debunking “A Million Little Pieces”); crowdsourcing (Porkbusters, Tibet uprising, Kaycee Nicole hoax). Mark is updating the post as commenters add new stories. Help him out! (tip)
